Within the framework of the project, it was possible to develop a public sector activity plan for 2024 in the anti-nuclear field. For this purpose, we gathered the representatives of non-governmental organizations from different parts of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi: Ecodia, Ecoclub, Flora, and All-Ukrainian Environmental League. In addition to creating a plan, for two days we studied nuclear power trends in Ukraine and the world in more detail, with the help of Artem Kolesnyk, a specialist in energy policy of the NGO "Ekodiya" and Mykhailo Shuster, a specialist in nuclear power.

 

Also, we organized an information marathon in the regional media of the Khmelnytskyi region to update the topic of renewable energy sources and the abandonment of nuclear energy in society. The representatives of the NGO "Ekoclub" and the NGO "Flora" also participated in these broadcasts.

 

To inform the public about the state of energy in Ukraine and the world, we organized an intellectual game for everyone - the Blackout Quiz. In total, 9 teams participated in the Blackout Quiz, including experienced players and those who tested their knowledge and logic for the first time in an intellectual quiz. In the format of the game, we talked about energy in Khmelnytskyi, the impact of the war on the energy sector, records in energy, etc.
