Project manager Olena Rutkovska took part in the "Green Perspectives on European Security" event organized by the Cooperation and Development Network within the "Green Visions on European Security" project. The event took place on the territory of the EU and brought together 40 young participants from 15 countries of the European Union and Eastern Europe.

The topic of Olena's speech is "Energy Security of Ukraine". She shared her vision regarding the energy security of Ukraine and talked about the ban on russian fossil fuels and the consequences of last year's attacks on the energy infrastructure. She highlighted the impact on neighboring countries and preparations for possible attacks this year. Olena also mentioned the capture and destruction of Ukrainian energy facilities by russian forces, such as the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. Olena revealed the consequences of these events and emphasized the importance of studying and responding to similar situations. In particular, the issue of Ukrainian nuclear energy and its role in the country's energy security was highlighted.

We thank the organizers for the opportunity to share Ukraine's energy experience. We believe that joint efforts and exchange of experience will help us maintain energy stability and confidently move towards a sustainable future.
