PROJECT
Green Energy Course for the Khmelnytskyi Region
The team of the Khmelnytskyi Energy Cluster worked on the analysis of the possibilities for the development of energy projects which may be implemented during the russian-Ukrainian war and after wartime at the level of territorial communities of the Khmelnytsky region. The project was conducted as part of cooperation with the European Climate Foundation. During the work on the analysis, we collected various data from 25 communities of the Khmelnytskyi region; as a result, 147 potential projects were determined for further implementation which will reduce the communities' energy dependence. The result of the project is the research "Green Energy Course for the Khmelnytskyi region". The research is developed in an interactive format and serves as a guide for the implementation of projects in the following areas:
- bioenergy (transition to solid fuel boilers)
- the growing of energy crops
- biogas
- solar energy
